Time for us to come awake and stop the laws passed on fear and hate.
Do away with laws that segregate
We are divided based on faith.
We pettily fight no end in sight
While the higher up takes away our rights.
Privacy and fairness exist no more
We are label traitors for not supporting wars.
They introduce amendments so they could spy
Most things in daily briefing dressed up lies
For what was once the land of the free
Is now the land ran by conspiracy
People who dare challenge those
In the end their wife expose
Now tell me who is the terrorist here?
It is those who put us in fear.
Now we live as nervous wreaks
Afraid of anything left uncheck
We kill those that did not touch our soil
And do business with murders because of oil.
Time to wake up shake you who idly sleep
Stop believing everything told like stupid sheep
Dare to question those in power lest,
They steal your right at the eleventh hour
Wake up Black, White, Muslim, Jew
Wake up people don’t them let fear fool you.

This paints a perfect picture of our current social/political climate so eloquently, so vividly. This is the wrong to time to be slumbering deep. Everyone needs to wise up, wake up, and get hip to what's really going on. Excellent work!
