Pursuit of Happiness

I shall be released. That is the song of my heart the melody of my soul. It is the wind that carries the weight of the my oppression, depression and shame. I shall be release is the harmony of my ancestors dancing to the rhymes of freedom. In a world of heavy sorrow and a generation of lack I shall be released. To a father that was never know and to the little boy that lies about him on father son day I shall be released. To that child who listen to the stories of his young companions and makes up ones of his own; let him be free. Love was never lacking in my life. I may have wanted so much more but love never let me strive and in the arms of warms kisses I did rest.

What is a man who does not know his beginnings whose father left without a word or without an inkling to look back? He is a man who struggles to find his place in the world. He is the man who relied on his mother’s arms to be his breastplate and his shield. In the world of the pursuit of happiness he is the man that runs at top speed not stopping until one day his arms is wrapped around success and he never let go. I shall be released.
