Ice Covered Window

Trace my fingers along the edges of the cold window glass.
Memories of a warmer time; a happier time once mine.
Trace the hands around that old grandfather clock. It chimes.
Landscape empty, covers in its white dress of snow like a virgin fine
Will you come back like the pumpkin vine in spring time?

Beige colored sheets lines my half warm bed
Beige tear colored pillow I lay my head.
Wick unrest grabs my unshaven chest
Overwhelming sadness captures my distress breathe

Sleep not awarded to my lonely heart this night
Watch the snow fall counted each one in sight
I’d rather open that old ice covered window
Let winter shatter my body in a million pieces like those snow flakesIf I can have a moment, one memory of a happier time that once was mine

I am so late on this one LF.

However it is great, but you know that already.

As always in Parting,

I came in Peace, and in Peace I leave.
