New York City is a beautiful place to live it has so much to offer but on days like this you have to contend with the heat and also the smells. It’s the greatest city in the world and in my opinion also the smelliest. The smell that reeks from the subways a smell of stale piss on the stairways, the smell of garbage juice left behind by the garbage trucks which made their early morning pickups and the smell of some of the people that are on the train, bus and street. A place that has so many people from so many different places has all the smells that comes along with it. My strongest sense of all is my sense of smell. Its bothers me sometimes because I wish I didn’t smell some things and just my luck someone stinky will come and sit next to me on the train. For every down side there is an upside too. The heat always gets the hot boys and girls to take off their clothes. Well not walking around naked but damn near close to it. All you have to do is stand on a corner almost anywhere and just watch talk about eye candy can make your mouth water. That is why I carry water so I do not get dehydrated lusting. LOL But really on a day like this all I want to do is stay inside read a good book and talk on the phone. So that is my two cent on the heat today. So keep cool!

You are right... New York IS STINKY!!! I dont know how yall deal with it.
I used to think that stinky people could sense that I hated them sitting or standing next to me and would just do it to annoy me... but now I realize that there are so many, I cant escape them.
And New York also has some of the most beautiful people in the world. The combinations of people's and cultures makes for hybrids of the most exotic types... and they love to be naked in the summer. It almost makes up for the stinkiness... almost.
I will co-sign on that - NYC does stink. But I want to be there in all its stinkyness!!!
So what book you reading?
But the peanuts smell good...and damn to be at a Spanish Harlem BBall Court right now.
I am reading " To rule in Amber" its by John Gregory Betancourt
LOL @ garbage juice. I remember it. Been there smelled that.
Your 'garbage juice' is a keeper ... and i'll be smiling whenever i'm reminded of it.
jersey city, like most large cities, can be a little stinky too ... especially during a heatwave.
