Busy weekend

Where do I begin commence? There is no better place to start than right at the beginning. My weekend was very hectic, filled with events and obligations which I lived up to. I try to keep my word when I make promises if you can not be taken for your word then what’s the use of event making a promise. Thursday night started the weekend off for me. I had promised a friend that I would go out so we went to Luke and Leroy’s. The crowd is more matured and attractive; people just sat around engaged in their own private conversations and played the same old flirting game. I’ve come to a very real understanding that the more things change the more they remain the same. The same wooing games that younger people play where they just stare, too afraid to come over and introduce themselves so is the game still played even with the more experienced gentleman. In everything there is a lesson I learnt that people can age in years but still keep childish coy-like attributes. I left early that night before 11.

Friday was just a big run around for me. I had to hit the gym early because I had to go and visit Nana around 2pm. I had promised her that I would come by on Tuesday for Friday. Nana is so sweet and for a woman of 77 I really enjoy her company. She simulate my interest and provokes me to discuss a lot of issues. She was so excited that I was coming over so I could not disappoint her by not showing up. I mean I was damn tired the gym knocked it out of me but I made my way there. She made crab cakes with toss salad and some potatoes salad. It was really good. She sat and talked about politics, food, pets and her pass marriage. To see her sit back and reflect on her life was very interesting. We also discussed some problems she was having with her grandson. He is going through the late rebellious ages. Early rebellion by early I mean around 14 or 15 is usually a rebellion with external authorities but late rebellion 18 and 19 is usually an internal rebellion of trying to find self and purpose. After I ate we talked a little more and I then she had to go and walk Max. I stayed in the apartment and took a nap. You would think I was the 77 year old. I am too damn lazy at time. When I got up we had tea and cookies. Talked some more then she walked me to the bus stop. She gave me a kiss goodbye and another open invitation then I was off to my house.

Later that night I had a party to attend at a place called The Lobby. It was a celebration of sort for the mass release of the movie “Ski Trip” on cable. It was a blast. I was looking all cute in all black and the crowd was very attractive but most of all the people were very pleasant and the energy was good. No drama. Just people chilling, drinking and eating. I danced like a little whore. LOL It was like an orgy of the dance so many people on top of one another just working it. LOL and I did work it too. I was such a flirt but it was fun doing it. I made new acquaintances and rediscovered old friends. So it was a good night.

And today is just a day of sitting around in my boxers and t-shirt with the remote in my hands just waiting for the movie Ski Trip.

I want me a Nana to hang with! To piggybackon Coley, i'm also glad to see that you keep your word to people. And speaking of keeping your word, i'm gonna keep my word and head to the gym.
